Background to project
We were continuing the co-operation between Ametikool of Estonia and Vocational School of Finland. There has been some student exchange between schools few years ago. This time last years students from practical nurse education group took photos from playing children in Finland during their working practice period in October-November 2016. Photos were taken also from playing materials and environment. Five students traveled to Estonia in February 2017 and took photos in local day care centers likewise.
Visual Padlet shots (https://padlet.com/brita_penttala/Leikki) shows what kind of play there is in those two cultures. Students discussed differences between pedagogical issues and observation of play situations. There was also a discussion about security tasks, educational differences and pedagogical perspectives
